New Tech Day/Night Policy

Tech Nights and Days have been absolutely pathetic lately. This is unacceptable. So to try to fix this problem, we will be instituting a new policy for next week and the week afterwards. Hell week is not one week for this show. We are very short on time and really, Hell Week starts now.

Tomorrow in class anyone not on a crew- or not on a crew that works during hell week- will sign up to be assigned to a crew. You will be notified over the weekend which crew you are assigned to, and the crew chiefs will let you know when you need to be there over the two Hell Weeks. (if this is confusing, it will be explained in class tomorrow) This way, every student in On Tour will be obligated to be here during tech and hopefully we will be more productive in the coming weeks. This is not to say that everyone needs to come every single day (aside from cast members) but everyone does need to come at a minimum of three days a week.

This show is the most challenging technical show we have done in a long time, and it will not fall into place by itself. We really need all hands on deck.

If you do not meet the requirements specified by the crew you are assigned to, you will receive a failing crew hours grade. If you are already on a major crew and you do not come frequently enough to tech, you will be removed from said crew.

We are not doing this to be mean. We are doing this because we all want this show to succeed and hopefully you do too.

P.S. Tomorrow's rehearsal is changed to finishing Gaston with Sal and blocking Human Again afterwards. This is still the same people needed as before.

Next week's schedule will be posted tomorrow.
