Rehearsal/Workshops

Freshmen/Anyone not on a crew: Please wear paint clothes to workshops! That means crappy clothes that you do not mind ruining with paint. Everyone will be painting so it is very important that you have the proper attire. Also make sure you wear your paint clothes to the Mentor/Mentee scavenger hunt as there will not be time to change before workshops.

Rehearsal:
Monday 3:00: Act 3 Scenes 1-4. Please check your scripts to see if you are needed, and as always please be on time
Friday we will definitely be blocking at 3:00 but we might also have an evening rehearsal. Scenes TBA

Next Week

This Thursday evening (tentative) we will be having workshops as well as the mentor/mentee scavenger hunt. Please check below to see if/when you are needed.

6:00 Mentor/Mentee Scavenger Hunt: All mentees and mentors must attend! Please be on time. If you have a conflict please contact Cristina or Ian.

6:45 Workshops: This is MANDATORY for everyone not on a crew. That means all freshmen and upperclassmen not on a crew must attend. This is also mandatory for all crew members. If you have a conflict please contact an officer, but it is really important that everyone attends.

The way workshops will work is that there will first be a meeting for everyone in the auditorium where the smaller crews will do 3-5 minute presentations. We will then break up into groups for the larger crews that need 20 minute hands-on workshops, and the groups will rotate so everyone can try each crew.

Crew Chiefs: Please decide prior to the CC meeting Tuesday if your crew will be doing a presentation or a workshop. Be realistic- if your crew can be explained in words, go with the presentation (house crew doesn't need 20 minutes of showing how to cut cardstock). If you will be doing a workshop, be prepared with what you're doing for the 20 minutes by the CC meeting.

On another note, rehearsal will most likely be Monday and Friday. More specifics will be posted Sunday.

Evaluations will continue Tuesday from 2:30-3:45 and Thursday 2:30-4:00. Sophomores as well as the upperclassmen that haven't gone yet: there will be a sign up sheet on the board posted Monday so please sign up for a slot.

Enjoy your weekend!!

Upcoming Events

Thank you to everyone who signed up for the street fair this weekend! We are still in need of more volunteers, so if you are interested please come to our booth by RS Jones on Merrick Avenue between 9am and 5pm for as many hours as you can. There is no actual dress code but obviously do not wear anything inappropriate as you will be representing On Tour. Those who signed up to dress in costumes, the costumes will be provided for you at the street fair. Everyone who helps out will recieve hours (there will be a sign in/out sheet) and we need all the help we can get so please come on down- the more the merrier!

Evaluations will be next Monday and Thursday for Juniors and Seniors; please check the board for your time slots. If you are unable to come at your scheduled time you can switch with someone as long as you both are willing to switch and you indicate it on the board. The date for sophomore evaluations will be determined shortly.

To the cast of As You Like It: Great job at read through everyone! Please start looking through the script and your lines if you haven't done so already so you are familiar with your part by the time rehearsals start- even if you are in the ensemble. Expect blocking rehearsals Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday next week. The actual schedule will be posted by Monday.

ASM letters of intent are due Monday by 2:15. We will be selecting ASMs immediately so please hand them in on time. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a show so please consider applying!
