Important Announcements

Memphis
Memphis money is due to Chris tomorrow-spread the word. If you signed up on the board, you are expected to go. It is June 11th at 8pm and it is $66.55. Checks are made out to Calhoun Drama Boosters.

Paint
There will be paint going on tomorrow (6/1) before the senior project rehearsals. Please be there to help out so the seniors can start on time.

First '10-'11 Post!!!!

Hey guys! It's us, your new '10-'11 officers. We just want to formally say hello and express how excited we are. As you can see, we decided to revamp the blog a little bit in honor of the whole "in with the new" vibe that comes along with the end of the year.

Now, for a few minor announcements:

*spots for Lend Me a Tenor are running out, so checks for $53 made out to Calhoun Drama Boosters are needed ASAP if you want to go (6/6 @ 2pm)
*on the OTHER hand, we have almost no checks in for Memphis (6/11 @ 8pm). They're $66.55, and also made out to Calhoun Drama Boosters. Hand in checks to the officers!

Elections & Shakespeare Auditions

Elections


Elections will be held WEDNESDAY, 5/12, at 2:45 pm in the choir room. All Thespians, including this year's inductees, are eligible to vote. Please be on time so we can end early.

Shakespeare Auditions

Auditions will be on Tuesday (5/18) at 3:00 pm in the Little Theatre. If you cannot make that date, your only other chance is Wednesday (5/19), the same day as the 8th grade Shakespeare auditions. If neither of these dates work for you, you MUST see Sal.

Remember that every student (non-senior) in On Tour must audition. You have an option to be considered for casting or just to do so for the class grade, but everyone has to do it. Please prepare a 16-line or more speech, comedic or dramatic.

Senior Video, Elections, Thespian Dinner, & Schedule

Senior Video

If anyone has videos or photos of current On Tour seniors that they would like to be considered for inclusion in the senior video, please email them to Amanda at amcloughlin@gmail.com . It would be best if they were taken in school, during a performance, or at the picnic or a cast party. If you have any ideas or requests, talk to Amanda, Jon, or Joe!

Elections

Letters of intent for 2010-2011 officers are due tomorrow (Monday)! Elections will be held either Wednesday or Thursday. We'll let you know the exact date & time ASAP.

Thespian Dinner

Checks are due very soon for the Thespian Dinner! Please ask your parents to email the Boosters if they have not received a form, or if they have any questions. Remember that all On Tour students are welcome, not just Thespians! It's a really fun night, and next year's shows will be announced, so do your best to make it!

Painting Party

Dear On Tour Members,

You are all cordially invited to...help paint the stage in the Little Theatre! Wooohooo!
Okay so we have a huge project of wood-graining the entire stage and we'll need as much help as we can get. This will happen immediately after rehearsal tomorrow (5/3) so I'm guessing it'll start around 4:30 or 5ish since we're only running act 3. I wanna start as soon as rehearsal ends so we can get out of there around 7 or 8 since people have APs and lives and things. If people are into it, I can pick up dinner or something right after school or we can order in food and make it a learning/painting/eating party. Yayyy :)

So if you're cool, you'll bring paint clothes and help out (that includes seniors too...and obviously the paint crew).
