Playbills for Thespian Points

Playbills!

In the last chance to accrue Thespian Points for this school year, non-Thespians may bring in playbills for "bonus" points on Friday at 2:35 in the drama room.

A few rules to keep in mind:

1. First-year drama students (freshmen or transfer students) can bring in up to 10 playbills
2. All other students can bring in up to 5
3. These shows can be anything from Broadway to community theater, but not elementary/middle/high school shows
4. If you have been involved with a show outside of drama, bring in a playbill that has your name in it. It still only counts as 1 of your possible 5 or 10 playbills. If your name isn't in it, sorry, but it doesn't count.
5. If you saw the same show multiple times, it counts once
6. The shows must have been seen within one year of Friday (April 23 2009 - April 23 2010)
7. If you don't actually have a playbill, bring in a ticket instead

Lastly:
Remember that this is a privilege. It's intended to be that last push for someone with almost enough points, or to jump-start your point tally. Do not assume that bringing in playbills for four years will earn you Thespian, because it will not. Also, we do not have to do this, so do not insult us by sharing playbills, bringing in playbills from shows that you have not legitimately seen, or other dishonest practices. Help us help you.

Misc. Thespian Facts:
1. New Thespians will be announced in the first or second week of May.
2. The same week, elections will be held for next year's officers. Only Thespians can vote or run. More details to come!
3. Freshmen very rarely make it, so please do not expect to.
4. Thespian Points for Easy Virtue will count toward this year's inductees, but fourth quarter crew work will not.
5. If you have specific concerns or questions, please see an officer.

Remember, Friday in the drama room at 2:35!
