Just so that everyone is aware, instead of using this link for the Officer's blog, we will instead be using the new On Tour Website! That's right people, time to bookmark a new website: http://www.chsontourco.org
Once you type in the link, if you look through the tabs displayed, one of them says "Officer's Blog." That is where all of the information will now be posted. Schedules, schedule changes, meetings, events, tech nights... everything! So- I will transfer all of the necessary information onto the "New" blog.
I know a lot of people have trouble adjusting with change but this is a good change :) Now our website can be our main source of communication, it is much easier to have all the information displayed on one page!
ALL information from now on will be posted on there and on there only! Well, I'll tweet it too :)!
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Crew Chiefs:
Please remember that the Freshmen are being tested on the material that you share with them tomorrow during workshops. If possible, any type of presentation along with the "hands on experience" is highly recommended and would be greatly appreciated, whether you choose to do a powerpoint or if you want to print out approximately 30 worksheets to hand out to the kids as notes.
Thank you for your dedication :) !

Publicity Ad Drive!
Publicity Director, Jeralayne Ruiz will be holding the Ad Drive tomorrow at 3:00 in the art wing/senior experience wing. For those who were unable to attend workshops or have simply forgotten, the "Ad Drive" consists of calling businesses and asking/persuading them to purchase in ad for our playbills (scripts will be provided so no need to worry about what you need to say!) We need to expose our season to all as quickly as possible in order to fundraise and get a large audience :) A lot of help is needed! New crew opportunities!
Now that our new OTC website has been launched, we are in need of technologically inclined individuals who can continue to update & maintain the website. This is going to be established into a crew!
This opportunity is open to ALL grades.
Computer crew, archive crew(organizing and scanning past pictures of performances) and website maintenance
crew. Please submit brief letters of intent if you are interested in any of these new crews!
Freshmen workshops: CHANGE in plans
In order to simplify things for certain crews and for the freshmen who are still getting accustomed to high school, the minor crews will INSTEAD have brief (about 5 min) presentations (that will take place in the little theatre) therefore these crews are required to submit a short idea what they will touch on in their presentations to make sure that they are prepared. Any kind of presentations are allowed as long as they can "sell" or accurately portray your crew. Remember, you are trying to get some recruits!
***bring any necessary props!
The following crews will be "presenting" on MONDAY at 3:00 in the little theatre:
-hair & makeup
-house
-programs
-publicity
-showcase
-bake sale
-vidéo
All other crews (tech, paint, lighting and sound, costumes, props, pit) are going to have their workshops on THURSDAY(-about , September 19 at 3:00.
•you are all required to submit your "proposals" for workshops.
All proposals for major and minor crews are due by TOMORROW, Thursday September 12.
