Evaluations
This is where is gets a little confusing. If your crew is having a workshop on Thursday, your individual evaluation will be Friday. And if your crew is having a workshop on Friday, your individual evaluation will be Thursday. The evaluations for each member will take no longer than 5 minutes, so when you are done, you can go back to what you were doing and help with workshops. The evaluation schedule will be posted tomorrow on the call board. Now, when it is posted on the call board and if by some chance you have a conflict, tell an officer ASAP, and we will try to fix it. Mr. Salerno has mentioned this process in class, and I'm sure many of you already know that this is just for Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors. When the schedule is posted tomorrow, and you find out your time, write it down in a place you won't forget. And be on time, please!

Street Fair (9/25) & (9/26)
We need volunteers to help with the Merrick Street Fair! We need people to help hand out flyers, face paint, and to bring as much publicity to the On Tour Company as possible. So, come on down & help out. This is a great way for everyone to get hours!! =)

Let's make this a great & productive week!

ATTENTION!!!

To all On Tour Company underclassmen,

Recently a notice went up on the board asking for ASM letters of intent for the upcoming shakespeare production. Unfortunately, we only received three applications and only ONE was from a freshman. Applying for ASM (or assistant stage manager) is a GREAT way to get involved in the program early in the year by working "behind the scenes" We are extending the due date to Friday, September 17th and we hope that you as underclassmen will be inspired to try something new. Please write a simple letter that explains why you would be suited for the job.

Love,

The Magnificent Midsummer Management

Sunday, September 5, 2010

Welcome Back!

Hello everyone! I hope that everyone had a great summer. We're going to jump right into things, so let's get started.

Tuesday (9/7)
2:30
A Midsummer Night's Dream management meeting

Wednesday (9/8)
2:30
Crew chief meeting (mandatory for all crew members)

Monday (9/13)
3:00
A Midsummer Night's Dream read-through (mandatory for all cast members)

This read-through is going to be a little different from past years. Each person will read their own lines, instead of reading each other's lines. But, there is a catch: remember in the middle of the summer when we asked each cast member to go to the student files for download page and print out their "role"? Well, you are going to need that for Monday because you will be following along using that, and only that. Meaning, you must be paying attention to your cue lines that are printed on the page. We will go into more detail on Monday, but don't forget your role!

All ensemble members:
Please try to get a copy of A Midsummer Night's Dream by the date of the read-through, if you don't already have one. You can get one off the On Tour Company website, under the student files for download page.

To all incoming and returning On Tour members:
We are looking forward to a fun and productive year. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
